Hey everybody,
It's been awhile since any of us have updated this thing. All of us have had increasingly busy schedules. Joe has been getting more shows for wrestling, I'm currently juggling 3 part-time jobs, and Jeremy... come to think of it, I haven't seen Jeremy in like a month so I don't even know what he's been up to.
To keep this brief, I'm putting the podcast on an indefinite hiatus until further notice (like we haven't been already). There are other things that must take priority at the moment and I can't think of any realistic time frame in which we can get this show back on track. Maybe, possibly, somewhere down the line the show will be relaunched but I just don't see it happening soon.
I would like to thank everyone for their support over the past year for the show. I wish we could have done more shows. I wish we could have been more frequent with updates and new episodes. Anyone who produces a podcast on a regular basis knows that this isn't a particularly easy task and you need time to do this (something we don't have much of). Granted, it's not brain surgery or rocket science, but there's a lot of planning and scheduling that goes on behind the scenes to bring a quality show. We've had a lot of good times in the 20 episodes that we produced and we like to think that, even though we had a relatively small audience, our audience enjoyed it as much as we did.
Once again, thank you.

"Meet Joe" gets Honorable Mention at GPSFF
Hey everybody,
My documentary, "Meet Joe", received the Honorable Mention in the "Best Documentary" category at the Greater Philadelphia Student Film Festival. Unfortunately, if you were in attendance, you only got to see 1 minute of the film. So, for your viewing pleasure, here it is in it's entirety:
Enjoy...

It's been awhile...
Hey everybody,
I finally got a free moment out of my insanely busy schedule to give you fine folks and update. So... what's going on with me?
1. I'm doing an internship at MyPHL17 in Philadelphia and I LOVE IT!
2. Between school, work, and the previously mentioned internship, I have next to no free time.
3. Any free time I have, I've been spending on music and when I have enough free time, I want to get back into writing and recording again because I miss making music.
4. "Meet Joe", my short form documentary about my fellow host, Joe Ruby (a.k.a. Joe Gacy), has been submitted to The Greater Philadelphia Student Film Festival. I find out on February 25th as to whether or not I've been nominated, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
5. I have no idea when the next new episode will be. With the way my schedule works out, earliest you'd be seeing a new episode would probably be May (end of the semester) unless by some sheer stroke of luck I get enough free time in my schedule to record a new episode before then, so my apologies in advance for anyone hoping we'd release an episode sooner rather than later.
So until next time (whenever that may be)...

update
Ok... so it's been almost a month since we posted anything on here, and we have a good reason why!
we're all too damn busy...
yeah, I know it's not a great excuse, but it's the only one I got.
Joe is busy working, training, and wrestling. I think he's also working on some different movie projects of his own.
John is working at an actual t.v station as well as school.
I have been working my ass off to try and get a better job and have been putting my resume out to as many companies as possible.
... I have yet to hear from any of them...
Plus, we all have regular jobs to pay bills and such.
I'm not saying you should feel sorry for us or anything. Instead, I would like to apologize to you, our listeners, for not being able to produce more episodes for you. Trust me, we all enjoy doing this show and we want to keep it alive... we just need free time in order to do so. I can promise you all that we will come back and give you many great episodes in the future, and I hope that you won't stop sending us e-mails and giving us suggestions for movies to cover in the future.
Anyway... I hope someone has met my challenge and sent us some sort of animated episode of one of our shows. If not... GET TO IT!!!
Later days

Four Words: SUPER MEGA DEATH CHRIST!!!
So lately I've been watching a series of videos on YouTube called "The Angry Video Game Nerd". The premise is that this guy looks at old, bad video games and just tears them a new one over how horrible they are. So I came across a video for Super Mario Bros. 3 on the NES, thinking to myself, "Now, why would he think that game sucks?" Well, he doesn't. He loves the game and talks about a movie called "The Wizard" which came out in the 80's and was actually the first time the public saw gameplay of Super Mario Bros. 3. Apparently, the film has a bit of a cult following (future episode, maybe?)
The icing on the cake is everything that happens after the review. You just need to know four words: SUPER MEGA DEATH CHRIST!!!
Here's the video for your enjoyment:
He has more videos up on YouTube. He also posts new episodes on GameTrailers.com. I showed a couple episodes to Jeremy and Joe and they didn't seem impressed. I guess that's just my sense of humor though.
Until next time...
-John
